The Chesapeake Reading Council sponsors two scholarships each year. The Sarah Whitehurst Memorial Graduate Scholarship for a professional who is pursing a degree and the Cynthia Foster Undergraduate Scholarship for a graduating high school senior that is planning to major in education.
A committee of the Reading Council will select the winner of the scholarship. The decision will be based on the information received from the attached application and a letter of recommendation.
